Privacy policy

We use the information submitted through our forms only to handle and answer your inquiry, particularly about product availability and delivery. Our forms do not save your data in the website database.
Data controller

Information we receive
We receive your company or full name, email address, optional phone number and message. A catalog inquiry also includes country, postal code and required quantity; an inquiry about a selected product includes its name, part number and identifier. Providing data is voluntary, but fields marked with an asterisk are necessary to submit and handle the inquiry. Do not send sensitive data or information unrelated to the inquiry.
Purpose and legal basis
We answer product purchase inquiries and take steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other correspondence, including contact with a company representative, is handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest is to respond and handle the matter. We do not use form data for newsletters, advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.
Email rather than a website database
The form sends your message to info@rockautomation.pl. The application does not create a customer database or save submissions in the website database. This does not mean that no data is stored: your inquiry and our replies are kept in email correspondence, and copies may exist in email service backups. Closing the website does not delete a sent email.
Retention
We retain inquiry correspondence while handling the matter and for no more than 12 months after it closes, meaning the last substantive reply concerning that matter. We then delete it from the mailbox, archive and trash. Deleted messages may remain in backups unavailable for day-to-day use until overwritten according to the provider’s backup cycle. If an inquiry leads to a contract or the law requires a particular record to be retained, necessary data is subject to separate rules and periods. Who can access the data
Access is limited to people authorised to handle inquiries and hosting and email providers to the extent needed to operate their services. The website is hosted by LH.pl. We do not sell form data or share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Data portability applies in the circumstances set out in Article 20 GDPR. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Send requests to info@rockautomation.pl. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl) or the competent supervisory authority in the EU.
Browser and external services
Your consent decision is stored in browser localStorage under rock-consent-v1 for 180 days to respect your choice, without form entries. With your permission, we also store your selected list/tile view under rock-product-view until consent is withdrawn or website data is cleared. The language follows the page URL. Change your choice at any time using Privacy settings in the footer; refusal does not block the catalog or forms. Google Analytics runs only after separate analytics consent; earlier consent for the map or catalog view does not include it. We do not enable advertising or ad personalization. LH.pl hosting may process IP addresses, request times and browser information in logs needed to operate and secure the service.
Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google) for visitor and website usage statistics. Google receives cookie identifiers, visited URLs and events, and technical device and connection data. Our integration does not send form contents, names, email addresses or phone numbers as analytics parameters. Before consent, we do not load the Analytics tag or send cookieless measurements to it. We configure _ga and _ga_* cookies for up to 180 days without automatically extending their lifetime on each measurement. Data retention in Google Analytics depends on the service settings and is separate from cookie lifetime; contact info@rockautomation.pl for details. Withdraw consent in Privacy settings: we disable measurement, remove accessible Analytics cookies for this site and reload the page to stop the tag. This does not reverse earlier processing. Google may process data outside the EEA; see the Google links below for policies and transfer mechanisms.
Map and product images
Google Maps loads only after you consent to that service. Google then receives technical request data, including your IP address, and may use cookies and process data outside the EEA under its own policies. Withdrawing consent removes the map and stops subsequent connections to it from this page; it does not reverse prior processing or remove cookies owned by Google, which you manage in your browser. Product images are loaded from external servers as catalog content; their providers receive technical connection data. Form fields are not sent to the map.
